Sausages in the Mission? Yes, Please!

Rating: ★★★★☆

This place is going to be dangerous. Why? Because now juicy, delicious sausages are right off of the 24th street Bart station, and I will have to walk by it at the end of the day when I'm tired, hungry, and too lazy to cook anything for myself. The chances of me eating a sausage every day went from 1 in 300,000 to about 2 in 5. Obesity here I come!

Rosamunde's menu is uncomplicated but offers enough different kinds of sausage that you can keep coming back and trying something new. From pork to beef to chicken to, hell, even pheasant, there's a sausage for everyone! Being a somewhat classic girl, I thoroughly enjoyed the beer sausage, served in a perfectly soft, toasted French roll. And of course, I slathered that thing with spicy mustard and garlic mayo. Mmmm garlic mayo...so magical.

What made me love this place was that on the menu they offer a cheese and meat board, but the menu literally just says "cheese and meat" without any further explanation. You don't need to know what kind of meat or cheese they're serving, just know that they're cool, and it will be delicious. Hooray for a restaurant with a sense of humor!

And, if I liked beer, this place would be extra amazing because they have a pretty large selection on tap. Lots of sausage, lots of beer, a great space for kicking back and having a relaxed, fun dinner with your friends, or perfect if you just want a cheap ($6 for a sausage!), quick bite. One of my favorite new additions to the Mission!
